School Council is a group of stakeholders in the school who meet once per month to share information and to discuss matters pertaining to the school and our children’s education. Parents and staff, as well as members from the community, are welcome to be part of the School Council.
Please join us for fun, informative School Council Meetings. Meetings are at 7:00pm at the school. Free childcare is provided.

Parents Needed!
Your help is needed and appreciated. We love to have parents come and help at the school with a variety of volunteering opportunities. It’s a great way to stay involved at the school and in your child’s education. Here are some current and ongoing volunteering opportunities.
Breakfast Program: Any morning you can help from 8:30-9:00am

Hot Lunch Program: Thursdays from 10:30-11:15am
Reading Helpers: Reading with students. Days & times can be set to your schedule.

Paper Recycling- Pick up the paper recycling from the front atrium and take to a recycling centre. Contact Mme. Claudette Fidler
Bottle Recycling- Pick up bottles from storage bin, take to bottle depot in Taiganova, bring back receipts and key to office. Contact Mme Claudette Fidler
Busy Bees: We are always looking for parents to help the teachers with various “odd jobs” for their classrooms (laminating, cutting, sorting etc. ) Contact Renee Hurley for more information.
Keep an eye out for various requests throughout the year for our special events. “Fun”tastic Fridays, Movie night and the barbecue at the end of the year to name a few.
